What I've been up to, plus some fun links to explore.

I haven’t written you in a while so I thought I would share a brief update and a few links to things I have found interesting lately.

Update.

For 2024 I am committing myself to fleshing out the School of the Possible. It’s definitely NOT a company or a business venture. In fact, it’s not a school either (well, not yet). It is an experiment focused on building creative community, primarily through face-to-face Zoom chats. The best analogy for what I am doing right now is hosting a kind of third place — like a corner pub or coffeeshop — for creative people. My hope and expectation is that these “third-place conversations” will lead to a kind of virtual art school, shared studio, or artist’s colony kind of vibe.

This is what our Collaboratories look like. It’s fun and educational too!

Join one of our Friday Campfire calls (every Friday from 9 to 10:30 AM Pacific time), or join our Open House Collaboratory this coming Wednesday, March 6th (9 am to 10:30 Pacific). The Open House is a chance to meet our faculty and get taster-sessions for our upcoming courses. The Open House is free to attend but youi will need to register for that.
